New Appointment: Angela McCowan is new Age Group Coach

I am delighted to announce that Angela McCowan has been appointed as Age Group Coach at Stirling Swimming. Age Group Coach is a new position at the club, with overall coaching responsibility for the squads below the Stirling Integrated Performance Squad (SIPS). The new position is a key part of the club's strategy to provide a full swimmer development pathway from Learn to Swim, through to elite performance swimming. Angela has been with the club for several years, both as a swimmer and a coach. As part of her new position she will be engaged in the Coaching MSc programme at Stirling University. Angela will report to Kerry Wood who will remain as Head Coach and coach for the Stirling Integrated Performance Squad.
The Club is grateful for the support of Active Stirling, the University of Stirling and Scottish Swimming in setting up this new position.
