Martin Cremin swims personal best in 1500 freestyle at World Trials

Martin Cremin swam 16:05.39 at the World Trials in Sheffield yesterday to finish 14th overall.

Several Stirling Swimmers had success yesterday.

Andrew Hunter made it through to the final.  His time of 49.82 in the 100 freestyle is a new Scottish Record, Jak Scott finished 15th, with Jak earning a new personal best time of 51.04.

Lucy Ellis swam a very determined race and posted a time of 57.12.  She will be first reserve for the final lying 9th overall, but perhaps more importantly, her time is inside the consideration standard for the European Junior Championships.

Jamie Ross just missed the cut finishing in 10th in the 200m breaststroke.
