Dear parents,
As of this morning only 5 swimmers had signed up for the Central Gala on Sunday 6th November. It would be an embarrassment for the club go to this gala with such a small team. It is a key event, a great opportunity for younger swimmers to obtain competitive experience, and the only event outside of District/in which we send a full Stirling Swim team. It is a great team event, with a good atmosphere as we compete against our local rivals. It needs your support!
The relevant squads were spoken to by their coaches this morning, and I would be grateful if you could contact Richard Gordon (gala@stirlingswimming.co.uk) to enter your child in the event if at all possible. Entries have to be in by next weekend (16th October) at the very latest.
Traditionally this is an event at which Stirling has done very well and we have often come away with the best team trophy. Let's try and do it again this year!
