Sam Agnew aims to swim the "English Channel"

13 year old Stirling Swimming member Sam Agnew, who trains with SDS National Junior Development Squad, is aiming to swim 22 miles - the distance of the English Channel - in twelve weeks in aid of people who have incurred a spinal injury. He will need to swim 1416 lengths of a 25m pool during training and at squad sessions with Sport Central Disability swim squad and at the National Swimming Squad for Physical and Sensory Disabilities. He says his swim is dedicated to Alan Robertson one of his coaches who was critically injured in a road accidentn in January 2008.
