I have just received the programme of events for the West District Group 7 Championships (3/4 December). The focus of the Group 7 Championships is on 200m for all strokes (except IM) and across all age-groups. Times from the event cannot be used for qualifying for the 2011 Scottish Short Course Championships. The gala desk for this event will take place on Saturday 19 November. However, because a number of swimmers will be competing at the West District Group 6 Championships on that date, I will be happy to receive e-mails (to gala@stirlingswimming.co.uk ) with the name of the swimmer and the events that they wish to enter.
