Water Polo: Thursday 4th August, 6-8PM

Following our initial game on 1 July 2011, Falkirk Otter has confirmed an invitation to play a return match on Thursday 4 August 2011, 6-8pm, at St Mungo’s High School. All supporters welcome. Anyone swimmers wishing to play please e-mail the coach at daviddalziel23@aol.com.

NEW COMPETITION CALENDAR (AUGUST TO DECEMBER 2011)

A provisional competition calendar from August to December 2011 has been produced and will be available on this website and the Stirling Swimming notice board at the University Pool.  The calendar is provisional because there are some changes about to take place with the format and timing of the West District Championships.  We have tried to anticipate these changes, however we may not have the correct dates and therefore that element of the Stirling Swimming calendar may have to change.

 

You will see from the calendar that the first event that we are supporting is the Grangemouth MAGs meet, which takes place on Sunday 11 September.  Full details of the open meet have been posted on the University Pool notice board or can be found on www.swimscotland.co.uk.  In summary, the events are 100m on each stroke for the following age groups: 11 & under, 12 and 13 years.  There are qualifying times, the entry fee is £4.50 per event and the closing date for entries is 14 August.  Due to the club break in training there will be no gala desk for the MAGs meet.  Therefore, for swimmers in the Bronze and Silver squads who wish to enter, please could you send an e-mail to gala@stirlingswimming.com stating your name and the events that you wish to be entered in.  Entry fees will be collected when we return after the club break.

Change of Time: Sundays for Bronze A, Bronze B and Club squad

Hi all,

I apologise for the late notice, however the club has only found this information out. There has been a change in pool time so Sunday sessions for Bronze A, Bronze B and Club squad will now take place from 5.30pm - 7pm from now on. As training is cancelled this weekend this will start as of Sunday 10th July.
