Dear Swimmers and Parents,

Cake Sale - Saturday 5th March, Bakers Required!

Stirling Swimming is holding a cake sale after the Grand Prix on 5^th March at the Univeristy pool.  If you are able to contribure or bake a cake for the sale, please can you add your name to the sign up sheet on the notice board.  Any baking contributions would be appreciated. The kids love to spend a couple of pounds on a treat after a busy morning of swimming at the Grand Prix. Helpers on the day to sell cake and candy would be appreciated.

Raffle Prizes: Presentation Evening and Ceilidh

If anyone can donate raffle prizes for the presentation evening, could they please bring them along on Friday night? Scott and Julie McGregor will be available at the venue from 1830hrs to receive them with gratitude on behalf of the club.

Education Session: Saturday 5th March

Following the Grand Prix on the Saturday 5th March, there will be an education session running from 10am - 12pm, which all swimmers and parents are encouraged to attend. All information given out will be very beneficial to the swimmers, and it will also include a session with the nutritionist. Hope to see you all then!

Change of Date for Grand Prix Round 3

Hello All Parents, Swimmers and helpers

There has been a date change for the third round of the Grand Prix from the weekend of the 12th March to SATURDAY 5th MARCH 8am till 10am at Stirling University Pool.

All swimmers from all squads are welcome.

We will be looking for parents willing to help out as usual with taking the times of the swimmers and for helping with the marshalling also.

If you are happy to help us out on that morning please email me, Anne Wilson, vicepresident@stirlingswimming.co.uk.

There is no pressure, just come along and muck in. Any parent who has never helped out at one of these before but would like to, please let me know, all help will be very very welcome.

Presentation Evening and Ceilidh, Friday 25th February 2011

There are tickets still available for the Presentation Evening and Ceilidh on Friday 25^th February 2011 at Stirling County Rugby Club 7pm-11.30pm. Tickets £12 for adults and 13 years and over, £6 for 12 years and under.

ALL SWIMMERS WHO COMPETED AT THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED A MEDAL.

Don’t miss out on this celebration and fun evening!! To purchase tickets please see Jackie Govan social@stirlingswimming.co.uk. Julie McGregor, any committee member or let your child's coach know who will pass it on to Jackie or Julie. Tickets can be purchased on the evening for anyone unable to get tickets from the usual source.

Change of Date for Grand Prix Round 3

Please note that there has been a change to the date of the Grand Prix Round 3 taking place at the Stirling University pool.  The date has changed from 12 March to Saturday 5 March due to the change in date of the West District Group 2 Championships.

 

Swim Shop: 26/02/2011

There will be a swimshop at the University from 0800 to 1000 on 26th February. There will also be a sale of surplus stock.

Change to dates for West District Group 2 Championships

Please note that there has been a change to the dates of the West District Group 2 Championships from the dates published in the competition calendar.

The West District Group 2 Championships for those 14, 15 and 16/over years is now on the weekend of 12/13 March 5/6 March.

The closing date for entries is 20 February.
